I’ve read this article from the online Philippine Daily Inquirer, a leading newspapers in the Philippines. It was stated there the fate of a Filipina traveling to other country particularly in Hongkong. Accordingly, she was maltreated by the Hongkong Airport Authorities upon entering the country because of lots of reasons. The fate of this Pinay was similar to the fate of our movie actor/actress, who exprienced maltreatment in Japan. We cannot say that only ordinary Pinoys/Pinays will experience this unwanted fate because it was true to even well-known persons from the Philippines.
There are lots of factors that we, Filipinos will experience the bad fate, maybe because of our skin, or maybe because Filipinos were anywhere, or maybe because we are good in everything, or maybe because they don’t like us. Whatever their reasons, they must show respect and hospitality to their visitors in their country.
